The rally was led by Prakash Paudel, the Central Secretary and Spokesperson of the ANNFSU.
KATHMANDU: ANNFSU, a student organization affiliated with CPN-UML, has escalated the protest, claiming that the engineering undergraduate fee has been raised.
On the second day of the protest, the ANNFSU staged a rally from the Thapathali Engineering Campus to the Dean’s Office in Pulchowk, seeking a fee reduction.
The rally was led by Prakash Paudel, the Central Secretary and Spokesperson of the ANNFSU.

According to Poudel, the ANNFSU has sought the establishment of compulsory tertiary education institutes in all seven states, as well as the removal of fee increases.
Currently, only three states of the country have 5 technical colleges for engineering.
President Secretary Paude warned that the huge increase in fee, which is done to cover the opportunity of new admissions, will never be accepted as the engineering subject should be taught in an accessible manner.
