Altitude sickness kills one, injures another in Mustang

POKHARA: In Mustang, a tourist died from altitude sickness.

Rupa Thangla, 61, of India’s Bhawani Nagar Kapra Secunderabad Hyderabad died of altitude sickness.

A team of 22 people left, and another was injured. She fell unconscious in Ranipauwa bus park while traveling to Muktinath from Thangla Jomsom due to altitude sickness.

According to the police, she died on the way to Jomsom Hospital for treatment.

Her husband is also harmed by the altitude sickness.

He was taken to Pokhara for treatment after experiencing breathing difficulties.
