3 policemen killed in gun attack in Pakistan’s Sindh province

ISLAMABAD: At least three policemen were killed and one injured after unidentified armed men opened fire on a police mobile van in southern Pakistan’s Sindh province on Monday, police said.

The incident occurred in Dadu district of the province when police responded to reports of a robbery attempt.

The attackers fled the scene after the firing, according to an official statement.

Police have launched a search operation in the area, while the injured officer was shifted to a nearby hospital.
