29-year-old arrested on rape charge

KATHMANDU: Police arrested 29-year-old Nirmal Chaudhary, resident of Ghorahi Sub-Metropolitan City-17 Belbhar, on the charge of raping a 29-year-old woman on Saturday afternoon.

On the basis of a complaint that they had forcibly raped the woman in an empty land located about 100 meters west of Belbhar Chowk, the police stationed at temporary Police Station Chaughera arrested him.

The police are investigating further in this regard.
