KATHMANDU: The recent “Aba Gaunchha America” tour by singer Eleena Chauhan remains mired in controversy as disputes between Chauhan and the event organizer, Fly Nepal Travels, continue on social media.

Chauhan returned to Nepal last week before completing the tour, expressing dissatisfaction online, claiming that the organizers treated her “like a servant.”

In response, Fly Nepal Travels issued a statement defending their position, alleging that Chauhan violated the contract by accepting payments from other organizations for performances.

“The remaining events of Eleena Chauhan’s ‘Aba Gaunchha America’ tour were canceled due to contractual breaches. If she feels wronged, she is free to pursue legal action,” the organizers said, urging her not to spread rumors and questioning the authenticity of the claims circulating on social media.

Chauhan, however, denied all allegations, sharing the bill for a New York performance online to prove the organizer’s claims were false.

Meanwhile, fellow singers Badri Pangeni and Pratap Das, who toured alongside Chauhan, are still in the U.S. Chauhan has repeatedly refuted the organizers’ accusations in various YouTube interviews.
