Former President Bhandari departs for China today

KATHMANDU: Former President of Nepal, Bidya Devi Bhandari, is set to depart for China today.
She will fly to Beijing via Guangzhou on China Southern Airlines flight number CZ3068 late Saturday night.
Bhandari is scheduled to arrive in the Chinese capital at 11:05 AM on Sunday.
During her visit, she will deliver keynote addresses as the chief guest at two significant events.
The first event, scheduled for Monday, is a dialogue among representatives of political parties from neighboring countries.
The second, set for Friday, is the Fourth Civil Society Exchange Dialogue focused on experience sharing and mutual learning.
In addition to these engagements, Bhandari is expected to meet with senior leaders of the Communist Party of China and high-ranking officials of the Chinese government.
She will be accompanied by a 14-member delegation, including Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Damodar Bhandari; UML Foreign Affairs Department Chief Raghubir Mahaseth; UML Standing Committee Member Karn Bahadur Thapa; Central Advisor Goma Devkota; and Member of Parliament Devi Prakash Bhatta.
