Tractor accident in Tehrathum, driver dies

KATHMANDU: A tragic tractor accident in Tehrathum district has resulted in the death of the driver.

The incident occurred at Aathrai Rural Municipality-3, when a tractor carrying cement, registration number Na 7 Ta 6349, traveling from Thutebar towards Limbuni Bridge, lost control and fell about 300 meters down from the road.

The driver, 32-year-old Kishan Pariyar from Bara district, died on the spot.

Preliminary police investigations suggest that the accident was caused by high speed.

However, further investigations are ongoing, according to the Nepal Police Highway Security and Traffic Management Office in Itahari.
