Gold price drops by Rs 1,100

KATHMANDU: The price of gold has dropped significantly in the Nepali market today.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold declined by Rs 1,100 per tola on Friday.

As of today, Chhapawal gold is being traded at Rs 190,400 per tola, down from Thursday’s rate of Rs 191,500.

Silver has also seen a decline, falling by Rs 20 per tola.

It is currently being traded at Rs 2,005 per tola, compared to Rs 2,025 on Thursday.
