Ambulance accident in Ramechhap: Two seriously injured

KATHMANDU: Two people were seriously injured and three others sustained minor injuries in an ambulance accident in Ramechhap.

According to police, the ambulance was transporting a dead body from Doramba-Shailung Rural Municipality to Kathmandu when it veered off the road and fell about 100 meters down at Chaarghare, located in Khandadevi Rural Municipality-3, near a forest.

The two seriously injured individuals have been referred to Kathmandu for advanced treatment.

The cause of the accident is under investigation.
