Everest climbers from Nepal Police & APF promoted

KATHMANDU: Two Assistant Inspectors from Nepal Police and Armed Police Force, who recently summited Mt. Everest, have been promoted in recognition of their achievement.
Armed Police Force spokesperson Kalidas Dhauwadi informed that Assistant Inspector Dantabahadur Chhatyal has been granted a special promotion to the rank of Deputy Inspector.
Similarly, Nepal Police spokesperson Ramesh Thapa stated that Assistant Inspector Kunjang Chopel Sherpa has also been promoted one level up to Deputy Inspector as a special recognition.
Both officers successfully scaled the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest, earlier this season.
