Cyclist dies in bike hit

KATHMANDU: A 50-year-old cyclist was killed after being hit by a motorcycle in Sunda, Ramgram Municipality-1, West Nawalparasi.

The incident also left two others injured.

The motorcycle, bearing registration number Lu 18 Pa 2945, was traveling from Sunwal to Parasi when it struck the cyclist, identified as Lavkush Chaudhary.

He was taken to the district hospital in Parasi for treatment but succumbed to his injuries.

According to DSP Veerdatt Pant of the District Police Office, the motorcycle driver Laxman Sapkota and another injured person, Amrit Bhujel, were also wounded in the accident.
