Three candidates recommended for governor post

KATHMANDU: The Governor Recommendation Committee, coordinated by Finance Minister Bishnu Paudel, has shortlisted three names for the position of Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank.

A meeting of the committee held earlier today finalized the names.

Among the recommended candidates, Bishwo Paudel has been listed as the top choice.

The recommendation follows a reported political consensus reached today between Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba to appoint Paudel as the next governor.
