KATHMANDU: An earthquake jolted parts of western Nepal on Tuesday afternoon, with noticeable tremors reported in Kaski, Baglung, and surrounding districts.

According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center, the quake struck at 1:59 PM and measured 4.7 on the Richter scale.

No immediate reports of damage or casualties have been received.
