92% of Gaza Homes Damaged or Destroyed by Israeli Aggression
UNRWA stressed in its statement "the need to lift the blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip."

NEW YORK: The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) has announced that 92 percent of Gaza Strip residents’ homes were destroyed or damaged as a result of the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Strip since Oct. 7, 2023.
UNRWA said via its X platform Monday that “families in Gaza are facing unimaginable devastation,” adding that “according to the Protection Cluster, 92 percent of homes in the Strip have been damaged or destroyed.”
The UN agency noted that “countless residents have been displaced multiple times, and shelter has become scarce,” stressing that it is still on the ground providing critical aid.
UNRWA stressed in its statement “the need to lift the blockade imposed on the Gaza Strip.”
The Israeli occupation army resumed its aggression on the Gaza Strip on March 18, following a two-month pause under a ceasefire agreement that came into effect on January 19.
However, the occupation violated the terms of the ceasefire over the course of the two months, continuing its bombardment of various areas in the Gaza Strip, which is experiencing an unprecedented humanitarian tragedy.
