HoR passes Water Resources Bill 2081

KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives has passed the Water Resources Bill, 2081 (2024), with a majority.

During Monday’s parliamentary session, Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Deepak Khadka, tabled the proposal for the bill’s endorsement.

Following deliberations, the House approved the proposal.

Speaker Devraj Ghimire announced the passage of the bill.

The next meeting of the House of Representatives is scheduled for 11 AM on Jestha 6 (May 20).
