NEPSE rises 19.30 points, turnover hits Rs 7.35 billion

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index witnessed a notable rise of 19.30 points (0.74%) today, closing at 2,628.36 points.

A total of 324 companies saw transactions of 16.2 million shares worth approximately Rs 7.35 billion (Rs 7,358,855,085.18).

Saptakoshi Bikas Bank hit the positive circuit limit, marking a strong gain in today’s session.

Sindhu Bikas Bank and Om Manjushree Pharmaceuticals Limited also saw impressive gains, with their share prices climbing by 9.99%.

On the downside, Win Nepal Microfinance Financial Institution faced a negative circuit limit, indicating a sharp drop.

Similarly, the share prices of Chhyangdi Hydropower and Crest Micro Life Insurance Limited fell by 4.40% and 4.39%, respectively.
