KATHMANDU: Kathmandu’s Battisputali area is hosting the play ‘Lost and Found’ at Shilpee Theater, running from May 17 to 31.

Performances take place every day except Tuesday, starting at 5:15 PM in the evening and at 1:00 PM on Saturdays.

The play features compelling acting and expressive physical performances that bring the story to life.

The narrative begins in a café, where the main characters, Bhumi and Sagar, engage in conversation. Through their dialogue, they explore memories of the past and seek answers to questions lost within their lives, gradually drifting into an imaginary world.

Bhumi, a tourist guide, was raised by a single mother and lacks official Nepalese citizenship. She also suffers from mental health challenges. On a work trip, Bhumi meets Sagar, a Canadian tourist.

Sagar is unhappy in his married life and has come to Nepal in search of peace, visiting the birthplace of Buddha.

During their tour, Bhumi takes Sagar to visit Buddha’s palace, sparking a debate between them about Siddhartha Gautama Buddha.

Written and directed by Yubaraj Ghimire, ‘Lost and Found’ stars Pavitra Khadka, Sumit Bhandari, Suhana Acharya, and Govinda Oli.
