RSP Whip Dangi: Gen Z demands stable govt. & forward-looking leadership
Dangi emphasized that Gen Z has lost faith in the traditional leadership and is now looking for new faces and fresh thinking to steer the nation forward.

KATHMANDU: Nisha Dangi, the Whip of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has voiced the aspirations of Generation Z (Gen Z), stating that the younger generation seeks a stable government that accelerates development and ensures a secure future.
Speaking during Tuesday’s session of the House of Representatives, Dangi emphasized that Gen Z has lost faith in the traditional leadership and is now looking for new faces and fresh thinking to steer the nation forward.
“We’ve had enough of leaders who were Prime Ministers even before I was born. Their expiration date has passed,” she declared. “Our generation wants leadership that represents new ideas and a new vision.”
Dangi criticized the ongoing discussions about Gen Z, saying they have failed to truly understand the needs of the new generation. “This year, there has been a lot of discussion about Gen Z, but none have truly addressed our actual needs. So today, I want to raise our voices as a representative of Gen Z.”
She called for policies that promote employment and entrepreneurship, along with practical skills training. “We want more than just academic degrees — we want quality education that equips us with real-world skills,” she added.
Dangi urged the parliament to recognize the shifting aspirations of the younger population and to formulate policies that reflect the changing times.
