Man dies mysteriously at woman’s apartment in Imadol

KATHMANDU: A man died under mysterious circumstances after visiting a woman’s rented room in Imadol, Lalitpur on Monday night.
The deceased has been identified as 31-year-old Jeevesh Adhikari, a resident of Imadol, according to the District Police Office, Lalitpur.
Preliminary police reports suggest that Adhikari had gone to the apartment of a 22-year-old woman originally from Kavrepalanchowk district.
During his visit, he reportedly lost consciousness. The woman rushed him to KIST Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Chakraraj Joshi, chief of the District Police Office, Lalitpur, said the incident came to the attention of authorities only on Tuesday morning. “We have just begun our investigation. The case is still in its early stages,” SP Joshi said.
Police have launched a detailed investigation to determine the circumstances and cause of the death.
The body has been sent for post-mortem examination to aid in the forensic analysis.
Authorities are conducting further questioning and collecting evidence to establish what led to the sudden and unexplained death.
