Man found dead in Gulmi River
His body was discovered the following morning at around 7:30 AM.

KATHMANDU: A 45-year-old man who went fishing in a local waterfall area has been found dead in the river, authorities confirmed.
The deceased has been identified as Gyan Bahadur Rakas, a resident of Butilgaun in Chhatrakot Rural Municipality-2, Gulmi.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ganga Bahadur Saru of the District Police Office, Rakas had gone to Bote Gaun Regdi Waterfall, located in Chhatrakot-1, to fish on Monday around noon.
When he did not return home by evening, family members and locals began searching for him.
His body was discovered the following morning at around 7:30 AM in the Badigad River, lying face down. Locals immediately informed the police.
A police team led by Inspector Kapil Shahi from the Area Police Office in Ridi was dispatched to the site.
The body is being taken to Gulmi Hospital for post-mortem examination, police said.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
