Man electrocuted while fishing

KATHMANDU: A 20-year-old man tragically lost his life after being electrocuted while attempting to catch fish using an electric current in Nawakhola, Miklajung Rural Municipality-6 of Panchthar district.

According to police reports, the deceased has been identified as Isara Thighim, a resident of Lumangdin in Miklajung Rural Municipality-7.

The incident occurred on Saturday evening when Thighim was using a generator to discharge electricity into the water in an illegal attempt to catch fish.
