Man caught with fake police ID & security handset
The District Police Office, Sunsari, has initiated further investigation into the case.

KATHMANDU: A man has been taken into custody in Sunsari district for possessing a fake Nepal Police identification card and a security communication handset.
According to the police, 35-year-old Jabir Hussain Miya, a resident of Kansamadan, Inaruwa Municipality–8, was apprehended at Bhansar Road, Koshi Rural Municipality–1.
A police patrol team from the Area Police Office, Laukahi, stopped a suspicious motorcycle en route to India, bearing registration number Province 1–02–047 Pa 1549.
Upon inspection, officers discovered a Nepal Police ID card with the name “Fida Hussain,” a voter ID card under the name “Mohammad Sahmad Miya,” and a communication handset typically used by security agencies.
The District Police Office, Sunsari, has initiated further investigation into the case.
