GALKOT (Baglung): Chairperson of Rastriya Janamorcha, Chitra Bahadur KC, has said monarchy is never an alternative to democracy and the republic.

Speaking at a party programme in Baglung today, the nonagenarian leader stressed that political parties should come closer despite their differing ideologies for the sustainable instutionalisation of democracy and republic.
The programme was themed on “let’s struggle against regressive threat, protect republic”.
The senior leader decried the violence took place on March 28 during the demonstration of pro-monarchs, demanding a judicial investigation in to the incident. “Pro-monarchists have started spreading their tentacles,” he said, urging all to unite for democracy to defeat them.
He also urged the citizens to be aware of the urgency to vote out those leaders responsible for corruption.
