Policy document a roadmap for nation’s future: MP Karki
He clarified that the coalition government, formed through collaboration between the two major political parties, is not driven by bias, prejudice, or vengeance.

KATHMANDU: Former Finance Minister and Nepali Congress lawmaker Gyandendra Bahadur Karki has stated that the government’s annual policy and program is not merely a formal document but also a roadmap for the nation’s future journey.
Speaking during the deliberations on the government’s policy and program for the upcoming fiscal year in the House of Representatives on Thursday, Karki said the current government was formed with the aim of national development and prosperity.
He emphasized that the document reflects the government’s priorities, vision, and commitments.
He clarified that the coalition government, formed through collaboration between the two major political parties, is not driven by bias, prejudice, or vengeance.
Highlighting the need for tangible development that can be directly experienced by citizens across the Himalayas, Hills, and the Madhes, Karki stressed that every Nepali should feel the impact of progress.
He also alleged that a coordinated narrative is being spread suggesting that nothing positive can happen in the country.
Furthermore, he warned against efforts to steer the country towards populist politics under the guise of a so-called “grand design.”
