RSP MP Hari Dhakal criticizes govt’s policy as a copy-paste of the past
Speaking during a discussion on the policy and program in the House of Representatives on Thursday, Dhakal accused the government of political retaliation against new parties.

KATHMANDU: Hari Dhakal, a Member of Parliament from the Rastriya Swatantra Party, criticized the government’s policy and program for the upcoming fiscal year, calling it a mere copy-paste of past documents.
He pointed out that the program includes only tasks that are impossible to accomplish.
Speaking during a discussion on the policy and program in the House of Representatives on Thursday, Dhakal accused the government of political retaliation against new parties.
He sarcastically suggested that if the document had mentioned the unconstitutional control over leaders like Rabi Lamichhane and Resham Chaudhary, it would have been more accurate.
Dhakal also mocked the government for its attempts to increase political polarization, take control of constitutional bodies, and give away the central bank to the Congress party and shares of the stock market to the UML party.
He further criticized the policy for continuing the status quo without any meaningful change, calling it a document aimed at maintaining continuity rather than initiating any new progress.
