Swami Kailashanand Maharaj visits Bhaleshwar Mahadev Temple
As part of his spiritual tour of Nepal’s revered religious sites, Swami Kailashanand performed special worship and prayers at the temple.

KATHMANDU: Param Pujya Swami Kailashanand Maharaj, the revered head of the renowned Niranjani Akhada in India, recently visited the sacred Bhaleshwar Mahadev Temple located atop Chandragiri Hill, just outside Kathmandu.
As part of his spiritual tour of Nepal’s revered religious sites, Swami Kailashanand performed special worship and prayers at the temple.
Following the darshan (divine viewing) at Bhaleshwar Mahadev, Swami Kailashanand Maharaj expressed a profound spiritual connection with the site, describing the experience as “divinely transcendental.” He praised the serene and sacred atmosphere of the temple and emphasized its spiritual energy.
During his stay in Kathmandu, Swami Kailashanand resided at Chandragiri Hills Resort and commended Chandragiri as a premier destination for both spiritual seekers and tourists.
He especially highlighted the natural beauty, spiritual significance, and peaceful environment that the region offers.
Accompanied by his entourage, Swami Kailashanand enjoyed the scenic cable car ride to the hilltop temple, taking in the lush green hills, cool climate, and panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley.
He described the experience as truly unforgettable and spiritually uplifting.
He further remarked that Chandragiri Hills, with its harmonious blend of spirituality, natural splendor, and cultural richness, stands as a world-class tourism destination that captivates every visitor.
As part of his broader pilgrimage in Nepal, Swami Kailashanand Maharaj also visited several other significant religious sites including Lumbini Cable Car, the sacred Kamakhya Devi Temple in Basantapur, Gosainkunda in Rasuwa, and the Dakshinkali Temple in Kathmandu, where he performed various rituals and offered prayers.
Swami Kailashanand’s visit is seen as a meaningful gesture that strengthens cultural and spiritual ties between Nepal and India, while also promoting Nepal’s diverse religious and spiritual heritage on a global stage.
