NC MP calls for Nepal’s support in global fight against terrorism
He warned that these events have placed Nepal in an increasingly vulnerable position.

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress lawmaker Ramhari Khatiwada has called on the government to be prepared for the growing geopolitical complexities and to support any nation in the global fight against terrorism.
Speaking during a session of the House of Representatives on Thursday, MP Khatiwada expressed concern over various international conflicts and political developments, including the Russia–Ukraine war, the Israel–Hamas conflict, the U.S. President’s current foreign policy, and India’s military response to Pakistani terrorism.
He warned that these events have placed Nepal in an increasingly vulnerable position.
“We are facing a more risky environment due to global developments such as the Russia–Ukraine war, the Israel–Hamas war, the U.S. President’s current policy, China’s efforts toward Taiwan unification, and India’s war against Pakistani terrorism,” Khatiwada said. “I urge the government to remain fully prepared to address these complexities and support any country in the fight against terrorism.”
Additionally, MP Khatiwada raised concerns about recent corruption allegations involving the Chair of the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON), urging the government to take necessary action and provide clear answers to the public.
