Gold price rises

KATHMANDU: A slight increase in gold prices in the international market has led to a noticeable impact on the local Nepali market.

As of today, the price of gold has risen by Rs. 600 per tola.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold has reached Rs. 192,200 per tola.

Likewise, silver is being traded at Rs. 1,955 per tola.

On Wednesday, the price of gold stood at Rs. 191,600 per tola, while silver was traded at Rs. 1,965 per tola.

Meanwhile, international media reports that gold is being traded at USD 3,395 per ounce in the global market.
