Parliament mourns death of FM Nepal

KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives has passed a condolence motion mourning the death of former Member of Parliament and minister Pradeep Nepal.
During its meeting on Wednesday, the House expressed deep sorrow over Nepal’s passing and offered heartfelt tributes to the late leader.
Nepal, who was elected to the National Assembly in 2050 BS from the CPN-UML, later became a Member of the House of Representatives from Kathmandu-1 in 2065 BS.
He also served as a minister in various governments during his political career.
Nepal passed away on Baisakh 23 at the age of 71 while undergoing treatment in Kathmandu.
In honor of his contributions, the House observed a minute of silence and extended condolences to the bereaved family.
The House also prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
