Mahindra Ray Yadav calls govt’s policy & program ‘ritualistic & disappointing’
Yadav contrasted the current administration’s approach with that of previous governments, which, according to him, used to draft policies reflecting the sentiments of the public.

KATHMANDU: Chair of the Nepal Socialist Party, Mahindra Ray Yadav, has criticized the government’s newly presented policies and programs for the upcoming fiscal year, labeling them as “ritualistic” and “disappointing.”
Speaking during a discussion in the House of Representatives on Wednesday, Yadav remarked that the policy document lacked clarity and failed to address the real needs and aspirations of the Nepali people. He accused the current government of presenting a visionless and confused roadmap, lacking relevance and direction.
Yadav contrasted the current administration’s approach with that of previous governments, which, according to him, used to draft policies reflecting the sentiments of the public.
He further stated that the present plan is discriminatory and questioned how the journey toward socialism can move forward without establishing a solid foundation.
Reiterating his earlier stance, Yadav claimed that the current government was formed through unnatural alliances and intermediaries, not public mandate.
He concluded by saying the proposed policies and programs have failed to inspire hope or enthusiasm among citizens.
