Senior Superintendent Thapa appointed as police spokesman

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Police Headquarters has appointed Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ramesh Thapa as the new spokesperson of Nepal Police.

SSP Thapa, who is currently serving at the Secretariat of the Inspector General of Police (IGP), will now be responsible for handling media communications and disseminating accurate and fact-based information regarding police activities and matters of public concern.

According to the Secretariat, the appointment aims to enhance transparency and public trust through effective communication with the media.
