Man electrocuted while connecting fuse in Khotang

KATHMANDU: A 39-year-old man died after being electrocuted while attempting to connect a fuse to an electric pole in Aiselukharka Rural Municipality–7, Makpa.

According to Sushant Mishra, the information officer at the District Police Office, Khotang, the incident occurred at around 7:20 PM on Tuesday.

The victim, Bikash Rai, was electrocuted on the spot while working in a field where the electric pole was located.

His body was taken to the Primary Health Centre in Aiselukharka for a postmortem examination on Wednesday, police confirmed.
