Nine injured in a road accident in Makawanpur
The vehicle (Ba 15 Cha 1333) en route to Manahari from Khairang of Makawanpur met with the accident this morning.
BHIMPHEDI (Makawanpur): Nine persons were injured and six among them were in critical condition when a passenger vehicle met with an accident on the internal road section at Athare of Raksirang Rural Municipality-9.
Himal Basnet, 16, Buddhiman Ghalan, 35, Dil Bahadur Ghalan, 75, and his wife Phulmaya Ghalan, 70, Rup Bahadur Raut, 38, and Deepak Khadka, 48, of Raksirangka-9 were critically injured in the road mishap.
Surya Adhikari, 50, and Kumar Tamang, 14, and Sujan Tamang, 28, of Raksirang Rural Municipality-9 sustained minor injuries in the accident.
A police team led by Assistant Sub-Inspector Bharat Kumar Khadka reached the spot and rescued the victims. The injured are undergoing treatment at Manahari Hospital.
