KATHMANDU: Chair of the CPN (Maoist Centre) and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has been discharged from the hospital after suffering a minor injury late last night.

He was immediately taken to Mediciti Hospital around midnight for precautionary medical examination and treatment.
According to his daughter Ganga Dahal, he underwent necessary checks and was discharged early Wednesday morning. “My father slipped in the bathroom last night and sustained a superficial injury to his forehead. After routine examinations at nearby Mediciti Hospital, he has returned home and resumed normal activities,” she wrote in a Facebook post.
She also extended her gratitude to everyone who expressed concern about his health.
