Federal Parliament meetings continue today

KATHMANDU: The meetings of both Houses of the Federal Parliament—the House of Representatives and the National Assembly—are scheduled to convene today.

According to the Parliament Secretariat, the House of Representatives will meet at 11:00 AM, while the National Assembly session will begin at 12:15 PM at the Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.

The sessions will continue the ongoing discussions on the government’s policy and program for the upcoming fiscal year 2082/83.

The debate began on Monday following the presentation of the policy and program by President Ramchandra Paudel during a joint session of both Houses last Friday.
