NA begins debate on government’s policy & program

KATHMANDU: The National Assembly has commenced deliberations on the government’s policy and program for the fiscal year 2082/83, which was presented by President Ramchandra Paudel during the joint session of the Federal Parliament on Baisakh 19.

Prior to the discussion, Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Devendra Dahal, on behalf of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, tabled the proposal to initiate debate on the document.

According to National Assembly Chairperson Narayan Prasad Dahal, 14 lawmakers have submitted amendment proposals to the government’s policy and program.

The discussion remains ongoing in the upper house of the Federal Parliament.
