Man dies falling from tree

KATHMANDU: A 50-year-old man, Ram Bahadur Kumal of Simaltar in Bhimsen Thapa Rural Municipality-7, Gorkha, has died after falling from a tree.

According to the District Police Office, Gorkha, Kumal sustained serious injuries on Saturday while cutting grass from a ‘Sami’ tree near his home.

He was initially taken to Gorkha Hospital for treatment.

Police Inspector Kiran Ghimire reported that Kumal died on Sunday while being transported to Chitwan for further medical care.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
