NMB Bank concludes 12th Heritage Walk promoting cultural awareness & sustainability
The walk passed through Sankhadhar Park, Balkumari Temple, Pati Bihar, and Nagadesh, drawing attention to the region’s rich cultural heritage.

KATHMANDU: NMB Bank successfully organized the 12th edition of its “Heritage Walk” on Saturday, commencing from its Gatthaghar Branch and culminating at the Mahalaxmi Temple in Bode.
The walk passed through Sankhadhar Park, Balkumari Temple, Pati Bihar, and Nagadesh, drawing attention to the region’s rich cultural heritage.
The event, held in collaboration with Nepal Heritage Society, aimed to promote Nepal’s immense cultural potential and contribute to the nation’s socio-historical transformation by enhancing heritage preservation and literacy.
Approximately 700 participants took part in the event, including NMB Bank employees, representatives from Madhyapur Thimi Municipality, members of the Nepal Heritage Society, and members of the general public.
The Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Surendra Shrestha, Mayor of Madhyapur Thimi Municipality.
Demonstrating its commitment to corporate social responsibility, NMB Bank provided a financial contribution of Rs 500,000 to the Nepal Heritage Society for heritage and environmental preservation.
In addition, the bank handed over waste bins to Madhyapur Thimi Municipality to support cleanliness and sustainability efforts.
