Proshes Pandey crowned winner of ‘The Voice of Nepal’ Season 6

KATHMANDU: Talented singer Proshes Pandey from Dhading has emerged as the winner of The Voice of Nepal Season 6.
The grand finale, held Friday night in Kathmandu, saw Pandey, a contestant from Team Khem Senchuri, claim the prestigious title.
Roshan Rai from Khotang, representing Team Melina Rai, was declared the first runner-up.
Pramesh Rai of Ilam, mentored by coach Raju Lama, secured the position of second runner-up, while Arpana Acharya from Sikkim, from Team Uday Sotang, finished as the third runner-up.
The finale event was graced by prominent personalities including Dharma Raj Bhusal, Chair of Himalaya Television, who awarded the winner with a grand prize of Rs 2 million in cash along with additional sponsorship prizes worth Rs 100,000 each from two sponsors.
In a brief statement after his victory, Proshes Pandey said, “This win represents the triumph of individuals with different abilities. It’s a testament that differently-abled individuals can also excel in the field of music.”
The grand finale featured electrifying performances, including a special duet by former champion Kiran Gajmer and coach Melina Rai on the hit song “Chhapakkai Phool Phulyo Baatomai.” Coach Raju Lama performed “Baadal Paari Ko Deshbaata” with Pramesh, while coach Khem Century joined Prashes for “Ram Ram Marauti.” Coach Uday Sotang and Arpana Acharya’s duet was also a memorable highlight of the evening. Additionally, former contestant Indrakala Rai, who was eliminated before the finale, returned with a special performance.
Season 6 of The Voice of Nepal once again showcased extraordinary talent and reaffirmed the show’s status as the nation’s premier musical reality platform.
