In a move to reduce road accidents, the government plans to improve road infrastructure, launch public awareness campaigns targeting passengers, and enhance the capacity and accountability of vehicle drivers.

Strategic and commercially significant road sections will be constructed and upgraded progressively, while the construction of damaged bridges and other infrastructure will be accelerated.

The government has committed to the swift implementation of all foreign aid-funded infrastructure projects.

Specialized bridges will be built along national highways, with an emphasis on modern road infrastructure such as tunnels and expressways.
