Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister pays courtesy call on President Paudel
During the meeting, President Paudel expressed happiness over the recent progress in bilateral relations between Nepal and Azerbaijan.

KATHMANDU: Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Elnur Mammadov, paid a courtesy call on President Ramchandra Paudel at the Presidential Palace, Sheetal Niwas, today.
During the meeting, President Paudel expressed happiness over the recent progress in bilateral relations between Nepal and Azerbaijan.
He emphasized the need to identify areas of mutual cooperation and work together for mutual benefit.
Recalling his participation in COP-29, the President expressed confidence that ties between the two countries would deepen further in the coming days.
Deputy Minister Mammadov stated that President Paudel’s visit to Azerbaijan had brought a new dimension to bilateral relations.
He also shared that although no memorandum of understanding (MoU) had been signed in the past 30 years, both sides are now working toward signing at least one MoU in the near future.
