KATHMANDU: The National Examination Board (NEB) has confirmed that the Secondary Education Examination (Grade 12) will be conducted as scheduled, from Baisakh 21 to Jestha 2.

The exams, previously postponed due to the Nepal Teachers’ Federation’s protest, will now proceed following a mutual agreement.

The Board announced that all necessary preparations for managing the exams have been completed. It reaffirmed its commitment to conducting the examinations in an orderly, disciplined, and fair manner.

Exams will take place at the previously designated centers. The NEB has requested full cooperation from center chiefs, teachers, administrative staff, security personnel, guardians, media representatives, and all stakeholders to ensure the smooth conduct of the exams.

Expressing concern over the recent circulation of misleading information using the Board’s logo on various social media platforms, the NEB urged the public not to trust such unauthorized sources.

The Board clarified that it does not operate any official Facebook page and that all verified notices and information are published exclusively through its official website.

The NEB has called on students to prepare according to the published timetable and urged all involved parties to act responsibly and with restraint to ensure the peaceful execution of the examination process.
