Ranjita Shrestha assures early release of Resham Chaudhary

KATHMANDU: Ranjita Shrestha, Chairperson of the Nagarik Unmukti Party and wife of Resham Chaudhary, has expressed confidence that Chaudhary will be released soon.

She has urged everyone to remain hopeful and assured that his release is imminent.

“Resham will be released very soon. I request everyone to stay confident,” said Shrestha.

Resham Chaudhary, who also serves as the party’s patron, was arrested on Wednesday from the Nepal Academy (Pragya Bhawan) in Kathmandu.

He was there to attend a program aimed at unifying his party with the Janamat Party.

Following his arrest, he has been transferred to Dillibazar prison.
