Man electrocuted while charging phone in Sindhuli

KATHMANDU: A 58-year-old man lost his life after being electrocuted while charging his mobile phone at his residence in Dudhauli Municipality-12, Shanitaar, Sindhuli.

The deceased has been identified as Mohan Bahadur Ghising. According to police, the incident occurred on Tuesday night when Ghising came into contact with an electric current while plugging in his mobile phone.

He sustained severe injuries and was immediately rushed to Dudhauli Municipal Hospital, where he succumbed during treatment.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the exact cause of the electrocution.
