Resham Chaudhary arrested from Pragya Bhawan

KATHMANDU: Resham Chaudhary, the patron of the Nagarik Unmukti Party (NUP), has been arrested from Pragya Bhawan in Kathmandu.

Chaudhary was attending a political program at the venue to discuss a potential party unification with the Janamat Party when he was apprehended.

According to reports, plainclothes police officers arrived at the location and took him into custody.

Further details regarding the reason for the arrest and Chaudhary’s current status are yet to be disclosed.
