Free pilgrimage to senior citizens

KATHMANDU: The ward office of Panini Rural Municipality-6, Arghakhachi has conducted a pilgrimage to 46 senior citizens of wad.

According to ward chair Krishna Prasad Paudel, the senior citizens were taken to Baglung Kalika, Tatopani Kunda Myagdi and Muktinath.

Goma Paudel, 90, and other senior citizens participated in the pilgrimage. Dhacha Bahadur Raskoti, 72, has expressed his gratitude to the ward for arranging the pilgrimage for them.

The pilgrimage was carried out at a cost of Rs 300,000 under the approved programme for the current fiscal year.

A total of 65 people, including 46 senior citizens, people’s representatives and employees participated in the journey.
