One killed, six injured in jeep accident
Among the injured, Dhana Negi and driver Bam are reported to be in critical condition.

KATHMANDU: One person died and six others were injured after a jeep (registration number SuPra 02001 Ja 0567) en route from Dhangadhi to Purchaudi in Baitadi met with an accident at Melkhola, located in Jorayal Rural Municipality–2 of Doti district, on the Bhimdatta Highway last night.
According to District Police Office Chief Binod Sharma, 45-year-old Harkabahadur Negi lost his life in the incident.
Negi, who sustained serious injuries, was pronounced dead by doctors at Maya Metro Hospital in Dhangadhi before treatment could begin.
The injured include Dhirendra Negi (27), Jagdish Joshi (44), Ram Bahadur Negi (53), Dhana Negi (65), Bir Bahadur Negi (28), and the driver Ashok Bam (24), all residents of Dilasaini Rural Municipality–4 in Baitadi.
Among the injured, Dhana Negi and driver Bam are reported to be in critical condition.
All the injured are currently undergoing treatment at Seti Provincial Hospital.
