KATHMANDU: Former Prime Minister of Nepal and Chair of Naya Shakti Party, Dr. Baburam Bhattarai, held a meeting today with India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
The discussion focused on strengthening Nepal-India relations and enhancing cooperation in development and economic sectors.
During the meeting, both leaders expressed optimism about taking bilateral ties to new heights through mutual understanding and collaboration.
Dr. Bhattarai also expressed deep sorrow and strongly condemned the recent terrorist attack on civilians in Pahalgam, Kashmir. He extended his heartfelt condolences to the victims and their families.
Dr. Bhattarai is currently on a visit to India to inaugurate the national convention of the Progressive Nepali Society, India.
