13-year-old boy injured in snake bite

KATHMANDU: A 13-year-old boy has been injured after being bitten by a snake in Doti district.

According to District Police Office Chief Binod Sharma, the victim, Rohit Bhul, son of Bhim Bhul, a resident of K.I. Singh Rural Municipality-6, Bhitadi Salena, was bitten by a snake on his left hand while fishing in the Chamtadi stream near his home.

Rohit is currently undergoing treatment at Sujang Hospital in Rajpur.

His condition is reported to be stable.
