NC’s Ghimire demands apology from RPP’s Lingden in parliament (video)
Ghimire stated that Lingden’s claim was completely untrue and called for him to take responsibility for his words.

KATHMANDU: In today’s meeting of the House of Representatives, Shyam Kumar Ghimire, the Chief Whip of the Nepali Congress, called for Rajendra Lingden, the president of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), to apologize in Parliament.
Ghimire demanded an apology from Lingden for making false statements regarding the involvement of the son of Nepali Congress’ Central Committee member in the Koteshwar Bhatt Bhattani robbery incident on March 28.
Ghimire stated that Lingden’s claim was completely untrue and called for him to take responsibility for his words.
During the urgent session, the Chief Whip further emphasized that Nepali Congress had been subjected to defamation and demanded Lingden either provide evidence to back up his accusations or issue a public apology.
Ghimire also urged the Speaker of the House to remove Lingden’s statement from the official records.
